Wilson Primary School

Student Programs

Not every child learns the same way. We have a variety of programs to address the different learning requirements of our diverse student population. See what we have to offer your child.

Before and After School Programs

Many of our students’ families have responsibilities which require that their children be cared for before or after school. Our programs include:

  • BrainBusters - Students in the BrainBusters program receive targeted instruction in literacy and mathematical skills.
  • PAC - Wilson Primary hosts the Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC), a recreational program provided by the city of Phoenix. PAC runs Monday through Friday from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m. Please visit the PAC website for details.
  • Sunrise Club - This is our before-school program for students who need to be dropped off at school before regular hours. We begin at 7:00 a.m. in the Wilson Primary School cafeteria.

Contact the Primary School office for more information about our after school programs.

English Language Learners Program

The English Language Learners (ELL) program helps our students learn English through an English immersion strategy. We teach students directly and explicitly in English so that they can grasp the English language skills required to succeed in school. Please visit our district Curriculum & Instruction page for more information.

Special Education

Wilson School District believes that all children can learn. The district is committed to finding, identifying, and serving children who require specialized instruction or therapy in order to progress through the general curriculum. For more information, please review our district Curriculum & Instruction page.
